Brain Wellness, Dementia Prevention & Brain Yoga with Laurel Brennan (occupational therapist, yoga instructor, health coach, functional medicine practitioner)
There are dozens of strategies to improve brain health that can be even more powerful than your genetic code. Come to relax and learn more.
Laurel will share some misconceptions about dementia, Alzheimer's and cognitive decline brought to light by current research. Come learn about the six subtypes of Alzheimer's identified by Dr. Dale Bredesen, their contributing factors, and what to do to address them! You are more than your genes. Your daily, monthly, and yearly lifestyle, habits, and environment add up and play a much greater role than the cards you were dealt biologically. After stimulating your brain with some new learning together we will do some brain yoga. No previous yoga experience is required.
