Bio
Lameteria D. Hall is certified as a Laughter Yoga Leader from the Laughter Yoga International University. Her mission is to join others in the "Happiness Movement", spreading joy and lifting the Spirit of World Peace. She is an ordained and licensed minister of the Universal Foundation for Better Living Inc.
She has over 25 years of experience in academic support services, developmental education and life skills training. In 2010, Lameteria joined the start-up team of Year Up Baltimore to serve as a bridge to unite the mission of Year Up within a community college partnership. As the Executive Director at Year Up Inc. in Baltimore, she is responsible for the development of a program that provides more opportunities for youth through higher education and the integration of career and workforce development. She serves as a liaison between faculty, staff, students and collaborates with senior level administrators in providing student support services to ensure student success.
Prior to Year Up, she worked at The Community College of Baltimore County as an instructor, academic advisor, and academic coach for student athletes. In her role she helped talented young men achieve success both on the court as well as in the classroom. She has an extensive track record for the successful start-up of innovated programs in the non-profit industry and higher education. She has served as the Vice-President of Administration for the Baltimore Urban League, Inc. and in many other leadership roles on her journey of living the passion of empowering youth.
Lameteria is an ordained and license minister of the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc. and Dean of Teacher Training Program of the Johnnie Colemon Theological Seminary in Miami, FL. She is passionate about helping others and embraces a shared vision to move forward and serve a new generation of spiritual consciousness.
She received her B.S. in Organization Management from Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, IN. She and her husband Winston share four wonderful children and two lovely grandchildren.
