Ilyana Kadushin as a singer and voice over actor, appeared on: Nickelodeon, Discovery, BBC America, Sesame Street Television, Penguin-Random House, Cartoon Network, MTV, national commercials, animation, and video games; like Lord of The Rings and GTA. She is also a singer on soundtracks for films on HBO GO and Amazon Prime. Ilyana is also an award winning audio book narrator, Narrated 100+ audiobooks including Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling Twilight Saga Series and Nadia Murad’s memoir, called The Last Girl about a Yazidi human rights activist from Iraq, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 and Goodwill Ambassador for the Dignity of Survivors of Human Trafficking of the United Nations. Ilyana is also the executive director and founder of Stories Love Music, a non- profit that provides creative engagement programs for caregivers who work with senior citizens.
Ilyana Kadushin as a teaching artist worked as: Adjunct Faculty, New York University, Tisch School of The Arts, New York, NY. 2016- 2020. Designed and taught a voice and public speaking course for upper level students in Experimental Theater Wing. Executive Director/Program Director, Stories Love Music Inc., 2015- Present. A 501c3 that developed a creative engagement program for caregivers who care for elders suffering from Alzheimer’s and all stages of memory impairment. Teaching Artist, The New School College of Performing Arts, New York, NY. 2015-2017. Professional Development Series, lead workshops on voice-over performance in advertising and media. Teaching Artist, Salisbury University’s Summer Program, High School Students, 2014/ Youth Innovation Academy Program for middle school students in 2020. Creating PSA videos under the title “Say It To the World” and “Make a Difference” campaign, utilizing creative writing and public speaking techniques, the students created their own call to action statements to the world. Group Facilitator, “Separate, But Equal” documentary film tour for National Universities and Communities, 2012-Present. During Black History Month, Ilyana Kadushin (co-producer/ composer of this film) traveled with Shawn Wilson(the film’s director) to universities and high schools, screening the documentary film, Separate, But Equal and facilitating discussions with students about race, history, and the power of community esteem. Artist in Residence: Purnell Boarding School, Pottersville, NJ. 2010. Created and facilitated a workshop for high school students entitled, “Your Voice: A Letter to the World”. The utilization of creative writing, movement, poetry, and video performance was used to motivate and inspire confidence for public speaking and personal expression. Facilitator for “True Body Project”: Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York, 2009. Led workshops in self awareness, creative writing, and group dynamics for women of all ages, from all five boroughs of Manhattan, culminating with a performance at the Brooklyn Museum. Performer/Activist: Amnesty International Human Rights Week, New York. 2005.Performance and post panel discussions to raise awareness and dialogue about the sex trafficking of women and children. Facilitated dialogue between producers and FBI trafficking task force.
