Mending Hearts Support Group

  • Corner Community Center 5802 Roland Avenue Baltimore, MD, 21210 United States (map)

Friend of the RPCC Sandi Schultz announces a new mutual peer support group for women living with depression, Mending Hearts.  This group is a gathering of women facing common issues to share what is getting in the way of living life fully. Through the sharing of experiences, we are able to offer support, encouragement, and comfort to each other and receive the same in return.

When going through a challenging or traumatic time, family members and friends may sympathize, but they don’t always know what to say or the best way to help.

This support group offers a safe place where you can get information that is practical, constructive and helpful.  You will have the benefit of encouragement, and you will learn more about coping with your problems through shared experiences. Hearing from others facing similar challenges can also help you feel less alone.

Mending Hearts  is free to attend and will be held at the Roland Park Community Center 5802 Roland Ave, Baltimore MD 21210.  The support group will meet every Sunday from 3 pm to 4 pm in the nursery space and will begin September 10th. There is a free parking lot behind the Center and there is also free street parking. Please come dressed in comfortable clothes and bring water to stay hydrated.  Please be on time as the group will start promptly at 3 pm. If you are running late, please enter the room quietly to avoid interruptions. Please bring a notepad and pen as you may want to take notes.
