Join us for a green-thumb adventure at the Roland Park Community Center, where you'll learn the art and science of growing your own tea plants from seed!
Are you intrigued by the idea of sipping tea made from leaves you've grown yourself? Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a curious newcomer, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of tea cultivation.
Workshop Highlights:
Expert Guidance: Led by expert herbalist and Licensed Dietician-Nutritionist Angela Taylor, MS, CMS, LDN, IFMCP, DCN-C, you'll receive step-by-step instructions on how to successfully germinate tea seeds and care for your growing tea plants.
Hands-On Experience: Get your hands dirty as we make paper pots and sow our tea seeds.
Tea Varieties: We'll explore a variety of tea plants that you can grow, including Rock Rose (Cistus icanus tauricus) and Vana Tulsi (Ocimum gratissimum)
Sustainability Practices: Learn sustainable gardening practices that will not only benefit your tea garden but also the environment.
Community Connection: Meet fellow tea and gardening enthusiasts from your community, share tips, and grow together.
